LINE DANCING
 
Carol Dingler volunteers her time on Wednesdays to instruct line dancing here at our center. She offers both beginning and advanced classes. The beginner classes are at 2:15 p.m. and the advanced classes are at 1:00 p.m. Come and have some fun, and get a little exercise too!

Needlework & Quilting
 
Bring in a project to work on and join in the fun. If you enjoy sewing and putting together Quilts, then come to the center on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm to join the quilters as they magically turn pieces of material into beautiful comforters and room decorations. On Fridays at 1:00 p.m. we have a group of people that work on a variety of needlework projects and would welcome any new comers. Join the group on Fridays for needlework and Tuesdays for Quilting.

POTLUCKS & BINGO
 
We have a potluck and bingo at the center about once a month. Everyone enjoys getting out to visit with old friends and to meet new ones. All you have to do is bring a dish to pass and a bingo prize (minimum value of a $2.00, new prizes please), we supply the main dish and tableware. Call the center at 468-3366 to find out when the next potluck is and plan on joining us for a fun afternoon. All are welcome!
 
Low Impact EXERCISE
 
A physical therapist from Community Hospital Rehab center offers low-impact, chair exercises. Wear comfortable clothes and get ready to move everything from your head to your toes! They meet on Wednesday mornings at 9:15 a.m. for 45 minutes.

CARDS
 
If you enjoy playing cards, we have different games going on almost daily. There's Hand & Foot on Mondays at 1:00 p.m., Pinochle on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m., Bridge on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m., and Euchre on Fridays at 1:00 p.m. Enjoy the camaraderie and an afternoon of fun.

ART Group
 
Art instruction is offered through out the year at the center, call the center at 468-3366 to find out when the next Art session will begin. The art group has formed a guild, they meet on the 2nd Monday of each month at Noon, new comers are always welcome.

Miscellanous Programs
 
Throughout the year speakers present programs on a variety of subjects, we also have local schools come in throughout the year to share their talents with us. These special programs are listed in our newsletter or on our website.
 
     
 
 
AARP 55 Alive Program
 
August 4th & 5th, 2008 Don Hafer, a volunteer for AARP, will be at our senior center to offer AARP's 55 Alive, driver safety program on August 4th & 5th, from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. each day. this program is a great re-fresher course and focuses on normal age-related physical changes, and how to adjust your driving to allow for these changes. Two four hour sessions are required for course completion. Completing the course may result in an insurance discount from The Hartford Company, Farmer's Insurance Group GMAC or Auto Owners Insurance Company. Check with your insurance agent for discounts from these or other insurance companies. Cost is $10.00 for non AARP members. If interested in attending this program, call the center at 468-3366.
