Tuesday, October 5th at 12:30 p.m. So you're 65, now what?
Medicare is the nation's health insurance program for Americans age 65 and older,
and for younger adults with permanent disabilities. In order to serve as many people
as possible, Medicare is divided into several parts and plans, each with its own benefits
and costs. With proposed and approved changes to health care, the program seems
even more complex each year. A representative from Area Agency on Aging will be
at our center on October 5th at 12:30 p.m. to present a program to help explain the
basics of Medicare, the seminar will cover, original medicare, Medical supplement
insurance, Medicare Advantage and other Medicare Plans, Medicare Presciption drug
coverage, Medicaid and Medicare savings programs. If you're approaching 65 or right
in the middle of it - this program might help you decide what direction you want to take
with your medical coverage. The representative will also be available to address any
questions you may have after the program. Come and learn more about it - All are Welcome!
